Content types....

Received the following today, so thought I'd post it as a question here for all rather than reply directly...

Hi,

I've tried to use your wonderful CMS, but I couldn't add any content in administration("Select content type to add" combobox is empty). After digging the code I have found in comments to ContentType class :

"Content Type Gallery is held in ~/settings/types and is defned as .type.config"

and I can't find any of the *.type.config in the source files folder.

Can you tell, where I can get the types?

Best Regards,
Andrew

Andrew,

You need to create the content types yourself - flux doesn't yet know what your content should consist of - eg: A news item might have author, title, summary, body text and so on, whilst a web page might just have title and content. I'm working on putting together a comprehensive sample for the next release at the moment, but unfortunately the quick start guide I had written has been lost during the transition between my self hosted project and code plex.

Cheers,
Tony
